Gangs of Bali

The post is dedicated to the street dogs in bali. When I was in Bali, I noticed a lot of busy street dogs roaming the sidewalks. What is amazing is that these dogs are fat, and happy! It is obvious that they are well-taken care off. Dogs that walked past the street stalls will get treats or pats from the owners. There was even a dog that was barking at the passerbys to clear the alley for the motorcyclist to leave. It was obvious that is the dog's job! To clear the alley for his owner/people he knows.

These cute pugs are actually on leash and are not considered as part of the gang in bali.

This adorable mutt was going to cross the road but there were too many cars, so it started pouting, and barking at the road! SO CUTE

Another lazy fella in ubud market, where its presence is surprising welcomed by the stall owners! I know most places would have chased the dogs away. This again show how kind and beautiful the balinese people are, a major factor why people love bali so much!

At one of the famous Ubud Restaurant in Bali, dogs circled the customers hoping to get some food. The staff DID NOT chase the dogs away, but welcomed them, talk to them, and even gave them food!! There people are so lovely, it is such a nice environment to live in because there is just so much love going around.

one of the dog looking at me while i was eating, just like my dogs at home, they know how to put on a face that will melt hearts!

I'm sure this would have broken so many Health and Safety rules back home, but this is another country, and we have to respect their culture and love for dogs. (well if these were rats sitting around it will be a different story for me)

they are always on a mission

once i saw a dog receive a pack of food from one of the locals, and the dog was holding the food (contained in a plastic bag) and running towards somewhere, i have a feeling it is to feed the family. how intelligent are they

so many dogs on the beach playing with the tourists there, i wonder if these dogs belong to anyone
